APHA 2019 Annual Meeting

Health Leads will be presenting a session, “Community Health Workers: The Key to Creating System-level Change,” during this year’s American Public Health Association’s (APHA) Annual Meeting.  Presenters will share how community Health Worker expertise helped address operational barriers within the health system and local WIC offices in New York City— resulting in recommendations to streamline WIC process statewide.
