This whitepaper describes how a cross-sector learning collaborative in the Bay Area used focus groups to inform the development of an impactful community engagement strategy. These focus groups helped to elevate local residents as key decision-makers in driving the collaborative’s action agenda forward — resulting in a community-centered initiative that works to address the intersection of health and housing affordability in the region.
