Dominique Morgan joins Health Leads as Chief Operating Officer, and Susan Furtney as Chief Strategy and Learning Officer to support national and local growth in racial health equity innovation, advocacy and partnerships.
Together with its industry partners, executives from the social enterprise Health Leads will participate in four key sessions at the upcoming Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI) National Forum on Quality Improvement in Health Care, to be held December 4-7 in Orlando, Fla.
IN 1931, Walter Shewhart published his landmark book Economic Control of Quality of Manufactured Product. He asserted that his theory and methods were an innovation to the science of management and wrote: “We are sold on the idea of applying scientific principles. However, a change is coming about in the principles themselves, and this change gives us a new concept of control.”
